Crafting Timeless Stories in Every Print
From the heart of Rajasthan, Anaprinta brings handcrafted textiles that celebrate the beauty of traditional block printing — made by artisans, designed for the modern world.
Our Essence
Heritage. Craftsmanship. Conscious Design.
Rooted in the centuries-old art of Bagru block printing, our studio collaborates with local artisans to create textiles that blend natural techniques with contemporary aesthetics.
Each piece carries the warmth of handmade work — from carved wooden blocks to naturally dyed fabrics that age beautifully over time.
The Making Process
From Block to Beauty

Design & Carving
Our motifs are inspired by nature, geometry, and culture, hand-carved on teakwood blocks by skilled craftsmen.

Dyeing & Printing
Using age-old dabu and indigo methods, natural dyes are prepared from earth, plants, and minerals.

Drying & Finishing
Every fabric is sun-dried, washed, and finished using sustainable, water-conscious methods.
Our Collections
Creating a Collection for 6-Seater Dining Table Linens
This collection is designed for both domestic and international markets. The domestic collection caters to those who are deeply immersed in the heritage, culture, and traditions of particular regions, while the international collection appeals to individuals whose lifestyle is simple and minimalistic.
The collection consists of one main design with two coordinates, developed using pigment printing and natural printing techniques.
The presented collection highlights the beauty and artistic inspiration drawn from the Kutch tribal region, blending elements of block printing and hand embroidery.
Inspiration has been taken from the Bhungas (traditional mud houses) of Kutch, Gujarat, where the interiors are adorned with Lippan Ka Kaam—a traditional mud relief artwork.
Testimonials
Posted on Google Ayushi PatelTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Anupji has created a wonderfully warm and welcoming space for both solo and group travellers who want to experience and learn about the traditional art of Bagru block printing. I reached out to him late the night before my visit, and despite the short notice, he was incredibly accommodating and arranged for me to join an early morning workshop. I opted for the 3-hour workshop, during which Monal gave me a thoughtful tour of the village and explained the history and techniques of Bagru block printing in great detail. I learned about both natural dyes and pigment dyes, and even got to create my own hand-printed rug to take home as a souvenir. The experience was made even more special by the delicious home-cooked meal Anupji shared with me. Spending time with his family, especially his children, added such a personal and heartfelt touch. It felt less like a workshop and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Jaipur who wants an authentic, hands-on introduction to this beautiful craft.Posted on Google Sawan Kumar ChhipaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Followed by a home cooked meal. Fabulous half day.Posted on Google KEITrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Google Sophie LemazurierTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Here’s a polished review you can post: ⸻ I recently did a block printing workshop and came away with a beautifully handcrafted shawl, but more importantly, with a deep appreciation for the incredible work behind it. Seeing the entire process from start to finish was eye-opening. From natural dyeing and the mud-resist technique, to the fermentation of natural pigments, the careful preparation of the fabric, multiple stages of washing and drying, and only then the actual block printing itself. Every step requires patience, knowledge and time. What struck me most was how many families are involved in the process. Some specialize in preparing the dyes, others in treating the fabric, others in carving the wooden blocks by hand. It’s a true community craft, passed down through generations. It completely changed the way I look at handmade textiles. You don’t just see a piece of fabric anymore: you see time, skill, heritage and collaboration woven into it. An unforgettable and deeply meaningful experience.Posted on Google Pedro Pinto CoelhoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. EXCELLENT Based on 16 reviews Posted on Airbnb JulieVerified Anup opened his home to me. It was a little difficult because there are a number of people living in the home. Their baby was not well and I felt like I was imposing a bit on their space. The bedroom provided was spacish and comfortable and provided an opportunity to relax. No shops were nearby so food choices a little limited.I did enjoy my workshops in the studio. GraciasPosted on Airbnb JayVerified I stayed at this home stay with Anup and his beautiful family and did the workshop which is just upstairs. Delicious home cooked meals, amazing Chai and immersion in traditional block printing by a fifth generation family of printers. A precious experience. Thank you Anup and all your family.Posted on Airbnb EmmaVerified I did a 4 day course at Studio Bagru and stayed with Anup and his beautiful family. They looked after me in every way either kindness and care and fed me beautiful food and welcomed me as part of the family while I was with them. I feel very privileged to have spent this amazing time with them.Thank you! EmmaPosted on Airbnb ShizuVerified We stayed there for 2 days with 1 yo child. I highly recommend joining their workshop. It's a meaningful, educational and creative experience. Their homemade food was so delicious.Posted on Airbnb MarionVerified We stayed at Anup’s while doing a two day workshop at studio Bagru. The workshop was very interesting but I have to say the accommodation is quite basic especially for the price we paid. The room is quite big and clean but the bathroom and toilets are very basic. We felt we were in the way of the family and didn’t feel so confortable. The meals were included but they also were extremely simple. If the price had been significantly lower that would have been acceptable but the price of more than 60 euros peur night is excessive. If you are doing a workshop at studio bagru I recommend staying somewhere else, you will get more for your money.Posted on Airbnb OliviaVerified We stayed at Anup’s place while participating in a two-day workshop with Studio Bagru. We enjoyed the workshop and the room was very clean. All of our meals were provided and they were delicious. I would like to share that this listing is a home stay with a family and not a retreat. Thank you, Anup!Posted on Airbnb AliceVerified a perfect place to stay if visiting Bagru for block printing. Anups family are beautiful and warm, it feels like a privilege to stay in their peaceful home. Great food, warm shower and comfy bed .Posted on Airbnb JackieVerified Thank you Anup and family for looking after me. And thank you to Monica as well. I stayed with Anup’s family so that I could learn the process of Bagru block printing. It was a fantastic four days.Posted on Airbnb MacyVerified My Mum and I had the best 4 days staying with Anup and his lovely family. If you are doing a course at Studio Bagru I couldn’t reccomend it enough. His mum and wife made the most incredible food - I couldn’t wait for every meal! Staying at the house was a really authentic experience and I won’t ever forget it and it was lovely to immerse ourselves in Bagru.
